Adaption Response Training

Masterpiecebodyworks presents

For able bodied individuals with no manifest injuries or chronic disorders, a properly conducted ART session is 30 minutes in duration. The session will include several warm-up sets to prepare you for the actual trigger sets. The goal is to do between 2 and10 trigger sets per workout. (Don't let the small amount of volume mislead you, as we will go to complete Failure (see definition in sidebar) of the muscles we are working and well beyond.) Depending on the level of conditioning and the individuals coordination and control of the movement(s), initally we may only focus on 1 or 2 exercises for entire workout. But as you increasingly gain control of the exercises and master them, we may evetually work our way up to performing 10 different exercises in a given workout. But this depends on the individual's learning curve, conditioning, and many other factors.

"You can train hard or you can train long, but you can't do both no matter what anybody says. And it is High Intensity Short Duration Anerobic Exercise that is the most productive type of exercise. Period!!" Mike Mentzer, Heavy Duty
"Authentic Failure of the muscle during anerobic exercise is a postive thing, signifying that the adaption response has been triggered. You can't fake it, so don't even try."
M.Stillman
Failure: An individual's Inability to perform a movement (repitition) on their own, in strict form or otherwise, without outside forces intervening for assistance.
