MY GYM

Triggering the Adaption Response in the motivated individual is almost as easy as breathing for me, as I have been training for most of my life, and trained professionally for over 20 years. Even so, having functional equipment, facilities, and an environment conducive to triggering the adaptive response is paramount. Training in most of the gyms in the greater Los Angeles area always left me wanting. Why? Because of major distractions, a lack of control of my environment, and of course crappy inappropriate music. So, my quest to build a decent functional home gym began. Finding an appropriate facility and searching for and purchasing the best equipment took time and patience. But it was well worth it, as I now have a space in which I can conduct great workout sessions time and time again. At my private home gym, I personally have had countless sessions of productive workouts, and now feel ready to share my knowledge and experience with those who are striving to be the best they can be. Welcome to my space.....my world.....my personal gym.

My Gym includes:
Hoist Horizontal Leg Press/Squat: This is one of the best, if not the best leg machine that I have ever encountered. That includes dozens and dozens, if not hundresds of leg machines over the years. I shopped long and hard before I found this one, and I'm glad I waited. The squat is a very difficult exercise to learn how to do properly, but it is indisputably the best exercise for the upper thigh. This machine gets you as close as humanly possible to doing a squat, without the long tedious learning curve and risk of injury. I love this machine. It hits every muscle in the upper thigh, including the glutes, quads and hamstrings.
Leg extension/leg curl bench

Cable Machine Slider: Dozens of exercises can be performed using this machine. Shoulders, Biceps, Triceps, Back, and Abs.

Cybex Pullover: This exercise is considered the grand daddy of upper body movements. It isolates the back to help give you that V-taper look.

Paramount Assist Chin/Dip: Chin-ups and Dips are two of the most productive exercises, but have a very difficult and tedious learning curve. This learning curve is virtually eliminated as this machine removes a percentage of your bodyweight, making the movement picture perfect and conducive to triggering the adaption response for every major muscle of the upper body, and from the very first workout. Another great machine.

In addition to the above pieces, I have thousands of pounds of free weights, many different types of dumbbells (with enough weight to challenge the most hardcore of bodybuilders), bars, and gadgets. And for those of you who want to do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training...Hardcore Cardio), I have the best piece to do it on. A Cybex Stairmaster. It's the best. Period. All the equipment necessary (and of course me, your very experienced Personal Trainer) to conduct an amazingly effective, safe and efficient workout...and easily enough to Trigger the elusive Adaption Response. Nuff Said!!
In addition to all of the above, I have several areas for stretching, ability to play the music of YOUR choice, fresh filtered water, a Starbucks nearby, and a clean bathroom specifically dedicated to my clientele if nature calls.
